Oak Ridge Baptist Church

What We Do:

Sunday school is one of the church’s most powerful ways to affirm the Word of God as the foundation for living the Christian life. It is the place where we teach the vital importance of Scripture to our children, youth, young adults, and adults and disciple them in their Christian walk

The Sunday School ministry at Oak Ridge Baptist Church seeks to fulfill one of the fundamental aspects of our  vision statement, which says, “Oak Ridge Baptist Church exists to Glorify God, Reach People; Teach the Word, Worship God and Fellowship with Others, all in the Name of Christ.” We do this by offering age appropriate Sunday School classes and study materials.

Department levels consist of Pre-K-1 grade, 2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade, Jr High -- 6th-8th grade, Youth, Young Adults, Winsome [mature singles and couples], Workers for Christ [mature ladies], Encouragers [middle age singles and couples], and the Men’s Class [older men]. A Nursery is also provided for anyone with small children.

Our Invitation to You:

We have a volunteer staff of 17 members who organize, teach, and minister to a Sunday School student body of  about 60 members.

We meet each Sunday morning from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and would like to welcome you to come join us in learning and fellowship as we continue to learn together the wonders of God’s Holy Word.

You are also welcome to volunteer by using your God-given gifts through ministry participation. There is a place for you in the Oak Ridge Sunday School Ministry. We welcome your participation!
